World Book Day and Red Nose Day

This week, we have been participating in a range of activities to celebrate World
Book Day. On Monday, the children experienced a range of texts and completed some
great activities mixed up in year groups. On Friday, they designed fantastic
potato characters, showing a great deal of creativity and resilience to make
brilliant figures that they were proud to share! Y6 collaborated well with Y1 to
help to make the potatoes. It is lovely to see the children working so hard
together. It was great to see so many of you in on Friday afternoon sharing
a story (and a huge range of cakes!) with your children. We appreciate the time
that you are able to give to support them during these events.
Thank you for all you donations - we have raised a brilliant amount for Comic Relief!
