Tuesday morning

 We’ve had a soggy but fun morning of activities.

 We’ve slept well and are full of breakfast. Now we’re heading back to get ready for our first activities.

Everyone is snuggled up in bed and we haven’t heard a peep for nearly an hour. Sleep well everyone. 💤

Day One

 

We’ve had a busy day at Moors Valley, settling into our rooms, having a tour and playing in the basketball court. We’re at campfire now and having a good sing song.

 We’re having a great time at Moors Valley. Just stopping for lunch before the fun continues. 

Year 5/6 visit to Gilbert White's House

 

This week, Year 5 and 6 visited Gilbert White's House and Garden as part of their exploration topic. A great time was had by all despite the Antarctic conditions outside on the meadow. Both classes learnt the art of semaphore (flag signalling), map reading and compass skills. In addition to this, they learnt about Scott's expedition to the South Pole.
