Many of the children have been making pictures from shapes today. Perhaps you could have a go at this at home. Cut out different shapes from paper and see whether you can make some pictures. Try to talk about what each shape is and describe where the shapes are in the picture. Also try to use words like corner and sides to describe the shapes you used.
We played "pass the bag" at home. This is a game I remember playing in school. Then Taylor and I traced around the shapes and cut them out. Taylor wanted to make a train picture.
