The chrysalises have been placed in their new home

The chrysalises are all now fully formed so they have been transferred to their new, temporary, home in our butterfly garden. We have put some twigs, leaves, flowers and sugary water in there ready for when the butterflies emerge.

  1. Excellent, Lydia and I have been looking up how long it will take them to become butterflies, apparently about 10 days. Lydia says she hopes one of them will be rainbow coloured, so here's hoping!!
