Welcome to our new look blog!

Life at Kings Copse is always so busy, we wanted to enable you as families to be able to keep up to date with all everything that we are working on together as a school. It is very important to us that we keep our lines of communication open and that we share with you what your children are learning, how they are learning and how much they are enjoying their learning. Working in partnership with you and your children will enable us to continue to write the next chapter of life at Kings Copse.

e-safety

As a school we take e-safety very seriously. In EYFS and KS1 much of our e-safety education is based around the Hector's World videos produced by CEOP, on their Think You Know website. These are a great resource that you may find it useful to watch with your child at home. They can be found at: www.thinkuknow.co.uk/5_7/hectorsworld/ .Please also take this opportunity to look at the e-safety tab on the top left corner of our blog where you can find details of our Technology Charter as well as our guidelines for using this blog.

So great to see people responding to our blog with comments. To comment click on the heading of a blog post (for example where it says 'Comments' above this post) then you will see a comment box. For e-safety purposes can we ask people not to use their full names when posting. Please use your first name or something like 'Jane's mum'. For more information on e-safety and our blog guidelines click on the e-safety button in the top left corner of our blog. When posting a comment don't fill in your email etc just first name and comment. The comment will then be sent to me for approval before it is made public.
