Thankfully, we have an amazing set of spies and detectives who are experts in finding evidence and solving mysteries. Armed with notepads, magnifying glasses, iPads (to take photos) and tape measures, we set to work!
We scoured the grounds to see what evidence there might be. One of the first things we found was a book that was about setting up an aquarium....
There was also a pair of waders and pieces of paper that had some sort of code on it... pot, may, tom were just some of the codes that we found.
Using our detective tools, we measured any evidence that we saw. We spotted some large paw prints on the floor. There was also a pair of binoculars left behind.
There was lots of evidence still to be found.... a ladder against a wall, a rope left on the floor, trails of fish food, cutlery and a fishing net to name but a few.
We stepped into the forensic lab to analyse the fingerprints left in Year 4. Mrs Glyn-Davies used her super microscope so we could look at all of the small lines and loops on the fingerprint.
We also noticed a large forensics tent set up on the field. But what was inside? Mr Earle put his gloves on so that he didn't damage any of the evidence. Inside they found broken glass (that Mr Earle and Mrs Stanley had picked up in to a tray). There was also a bottle of detergent left there. Everything was getting even more mysterious!
Our super sleuths are now analysing all of the evidence and trying to crack the mystery. Where have the fish gone? Keep your eyes peeled to see if our daring detectives can find out what has happened!
