School Council visit to the build

The School Council were invited to visit the new build today.

We were allowed to sit in the forklift truck, which we were all very excited about...especially Mrs Warland!

Snowmen In Year 1

After finding some clues that a Snowman had been in our classroom, we watched The Snowman story to find out what adventures he had been on.

We liked the story so much we decided to start planning and writing our own Snowman adventures.

We started by making our own snowmen and were very creative with our ideas. We have amazing snowmen, snowladies and lots of different snowanimals!

I wonder what adventures we will go on...

Digestive Fun in Year 3!

This half term in Year 3 we have been learning about teeth and the digestive system. We've done some great experiments - they've been pretty disgusting too!

We chose different substances to put eggs into to see what effect they have on our teeth. We covered part of the eggs with toothpaste to see how much toothpaste really protects our teeth... the results were incredible!

We also investigated what really happens to our food when we eat it.

First, we put the organ names in the right order:

Then, we found out what happened to biscuits going through the digestive system:
