We have been very busy in OASIS over the past few months, and would like to share our news with you.

We have held two successful in-reach sessions; one in the autumn term, and one in the spring.

Some great activities were enjoyed by all!

Spring in-reach

Global music came in to show us how we could create music using technology.
We also had great fun making up our own song which Jim played on the guitar for us and we all sang along to. We added our own percussion instruments too!

World Book Day

Thank you all for your engagement in World Book Day.  The children had a fantastic day.  They completed lots of poetry activities.  Years 5 and 6 also read stories to some of the younger children today, which was lovely to see.

Thank you for all of the wonderful entries into the story character competition.  They are fantastic and it is going to be extremely hard to choose!  The winners will be announced in celebration assemblies next week.  In the meantime, here are some photos of the lovely creations.  More photos of World Book Day will be added soon.

Some of the adults have taken part in 'The Masked Poet' for World Book Day this year.  The children have had a go at guessing the adults.  Here is the link if you'd like to have a go too!

More fun and games!

We’ve had fun playing lots of different games with the PGL staff this morning. We’ve even managed to design ways to keep water balloons safe when we drop them.
