This week is Parliament week. Our local MP, Mr Thornton, came in to talk to us about the House of Commons, how parliament works and what his job involves. He also answered lots of our questions. What did you find out?
Wow what an opportunity ... not many children get the chance to question an MP. From the school newsletter it sounded ke you were really able to challenge our MP. Great work year 6 .. keep it going.
To help ensure anonymity for all our children please don't use surnames when posting comments. Use first names or names such as 'Susie's mum' when commenting. Please make sure all comments are polite and kind.
