Be Waterwise!

Today, Ashley from Southern Water came to talk to us about being waterwise.
We wanted to find ways we could save water and help the environment for our literacy work.

She talked about where we get our water from and the rivers in our area.

She then got us to think about how we use water in our homes. We had to place objects on a pie chart to say how much water we think they used.

We were surprised that the toilet used the most water in our homes.

Ashley then talked about how we could save water and what happens to used water once it leaves our homes.

What did you learn that you could tell a parent or family member to help us save water?
