Marwell Trip

Marwell Visit

On Tuesday 15th March Year 4 set off on a trip to Marwell with Year 3.  We had a great time looking at various animal skins and live animals in the workshop. Some of us were really brave and touched Colin the Cockroach.

We spent lots of time in the tropical house studying the minibeasts and the habitats that they live in.  Our next topic is Brazil, so we used the time to look closely at some of the different plants found in rainforests.

After collecting research for our topic, we had great fun looking around the zoo.  We were incredibly lucky to see so many animals out and about in their enclosures.  Both tigers were visible and even the leopards were strutting their stuff for us.

Thank you to all the parents, helpers and staff who joined us on the day.
