Class Assembly

We think you will agree that our Year R Class Assembly was amazing!

The children spoke clearly, sang beautifully and showed great pride in their performance

3D Shapes

This week in maths we have been busy investigating 3D shapes and their properties. We used faces, vertices and edges to write descriptions of the shapes and found examples around the school.

We then tried to make the shapes out of different materials. We had to look really closely at the shapes of the faces and how many edges there were.

We have been finishing off our Monsters topic this week byt hunting for minibeasts in our gardens! We spent some time in the nature area looking for different minibeasts. 

 

Back in class we identified them using ID cards and used branching diagrams to sort them.
