Fizzy fun!

The children had a very exciting start to science week in year 3 this afternoon! They investigated how to make fizz using icing sugar, bicarbonate of soda and orange and lemon juice. Some of the fizzy mixtures they made tasted lovely and others did not! The children discussed which of the mixtures they liked and disliked. They also looked at the quantities of ingredients they used for each mixture and thought about what it was that made the fizziest mixture.
