Roman Day!

Today, Year 3 and 4 were taken over by Romans! We had a Roman Visitor, Iggy, who transported us to 45Ad: a time when Romans ruled!

We learnt about Boudicca, Roman Baths (there were lots of questions about the toilets!), the Roman army and Gladiators. Click on any of the links to find out more!

We also had lots of fun re-enacting Boudicca's battle with the Romans and marching like a Roman Army. During the day, we also played a game of Delta (much like shove ha'penny) where we learnt some Roman numerals and took part in a Roman quiz.

Thank-you to all of you who sorted brilliant costumes for the day - our Romans looked very realistic! We had a fantastic time - thank-you Iggy!
