Today, Year 2 had a visit from Hampshire fire and rescue services. We learnt how to keep ourselves safe at school and in our homes.

We learnt about what a smoke detector does and how to play the 'Hunt the Smoke Detector' game.

We also learnt how to cross the road safely and why it is important to always wear a seat belt when we are in a car.

Remember, STOP, LOOK, LISTEN!

These are the fire fighters that came in to teach us.

Here, we are learning about smoke detectors.

We played a game called 'Hoses and Ladders'

We were read a story all about fire.

We made a fire fighter and tried on the fireman's helmet.
