Paul Geraghty Extravaganza

Paul Geraghty pays a visit!

Today we were visited by critically acclaimed author and illustrator Paul Geraghty.  His pictures have been published world wide in 8 different languages.

The day was spent with him sharing stories, illustrations and writing tips with the children.  Did you know you should never start a drawing with the eyes? Instead, draw he largest feature first!

Incredibly, whilst telling a story, he drew fantastic illustrations for us to display in school.

At the end of the day, many of us got to meet him while he signed books for us!

  1. Wow! That was amazing! I came away wanting to write a story myself! The way Paul Geraghty described how he got his ideas and developed stories.....I can see why Mrs Warland was so excited! I hope the children were equally inspired, he kept them engaged so well! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be part of this,
