Gardening Club

Update from last term

We have sown a variety of beans both in the legume border and by the rhubarb.
Still looking after the chickens and now the grass is being cut regularly, the composter will be heating up!

The fruit cage has gooseberries, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, cape gooseberries
and a boysenberry.

We've planted up the pots outside the KS2 classrooms, now we need to plant up KS1 and front of school.

The herb garden is slowly taking shape and growing.  Unfortunately so are the weeds!

We completed the Rocket Science experiment.  But won't know which seeds were in space until the week commencing 20/06/16.  When we should receive a pre-recorded message from Tim Peake, so we'll let you know.

This slow worm came to visit us from the wildlife area.

We've filled the greenhouse with tomatoes, cucumbers
and we are trying aubergines - wait and see if we
grow any.
