World Book Day in Year R

Some of us started our day having crumpets and stories with our grown ups.




Today we were all dressed as our favourite book characters.





 The first thing we did was to go to a whole school assembly in which Miss Halton told us all about World Book Day.


 After that we chose which story book we wanted to listen to, our choices were, Stickman, The Tiger who came to tea, Aliens love Underpants and Something Else. 


We then carried out different activities related to the stories we had chosen.









We finished our day with some shared reading with Year 6.



 

 We have had a lovely day wearing our fabulous costumes and would like to say thank you to our grown ups for helping us with them.
