River Exploration in Years 3 and 4

Last week, Years 3 and 4 set off on a very exciting walk all the way to the River Hamble. As part of our English and Geography work this term, we sketched different parts of the river and forest, used paint colour charts to compare the different shades of green in the forest, identified as many different types of trees as we could find as well as thinking about specific vocabulary to help generate some poetic language. We were very lucky with the weather and were delighted to have so many parents come with us to help.
