We are finding out all about Rocks in Year 4.
This week we have begun to think about how they play a huge part in the structure of our Earth.
We have tested Rocks for their durability, permeability and observable properties. Next week we are going to use this information to group them under scientific headings: Igneous, Metamorphic and Sedimentary.
Some of us were amazed to see that rocks can float and that some release oxygen from gaps between particles.
