Portchester Castle Trip- 12/09/13

Here are some photographs from our fantantastic trip to Portchester Castle.


 
We had to curtsy and bow when the King received his crown.

  1. That looked like a super trip, Year 4. Did you learn anything about the spiral staircase? I know an interesting fact about why most spiral staircases corkscrew in a clockwise direction (if you're at the bottom looking up) or anti-clockwise (if you're at the top looking down). Can anyone guess why they were built like this? Have a guess...

  3. I have never been to Portchester Castle but looking at your photographs I think I should visit. It looks a great castle. What was your favourite part?
