Last week, it was Year Six's turn to collect eggs from our lovely chickens. We had a discussion about what we should do with the eggs we collected, with most people suggesting we should cook cakes. However, Miss Halton decided that, as tasty as cake is, we should cook something that not many people have tried. Instead, we went for quiche! Our quiches didn't need pastry - they went straight into the baking trays!
Now if that face doesn't say "I love quiche!" I don't know what does!
One of our chefs hard at work.
We all know how to make these now, so if you fancy a taste, just ask our Year Sixes and they can whip one up for you!
I saw these quiches being prepared and cooked and they looked and smelt amazing. Definitely one to try at home and a very good use of our eggs at school. Well done Year 6!
