As part of our 'Around the world in 80 days' topic, we have been having a go at orienteering in PE. First, we developed our team building skills by guiding our partners over and around obstacles whilst blindfolded. This helped us realise the importance of trust and communication when we are working in a team.
We then had a go at an orienteering activity outside. We had to find the matching symbols on the red and white semaphore flags and complete our grid.
It was great fun. Next week, we will be using maps of the school to solve problems!
