Making Canopic Jars

Canopic Jars

This week we have begun making out canopic jars as part of our history topic.  After producing some designs, we began adding rolls of paper to Pringle Pots to make the shape of a canopic jar.

















Next we used newspaper and PVA glue to cover the rolls.  This will make them strong and easy to paint. You can start to see the final shapes of the jars.
