Year 4 have had an extremely busy week...
This week, the children were fantastic performing their medieval class assembly. The children also had their 'Listen to Me' music concert with the Year 2 children and impressed everyone with their brilliant recorder playing.
On Thursday, Year 3 and 4 had a dress up medieval day. The children looked very authentic in their wonderful costumes. They had a great day taking part in the fun activities.
In the morning the children performed their medieval dances, had a go at sewing, cooked mince pies and fruit tarts and had a go at animating a medieval legend. The afternoon was just as exciting, when the children met our visitor, who taught the children some medieval entertainment tricks- juggling, plate spinning and diabolo. It was tricky as you had to have great hand/eye co-ordination! The children showed great perserverence skills and showed improvement in these skills during the workshop.
Jonnie and Lauren were crowned our champions- seen as making the most improvement.
