Zoo Lab Visit




Today we had a visit from the Zoo Lab. We were able to meet lots of animals including Martha the millipede, Cuthbert the cockroach and Saturn the snake.

We could hold or stroke them. We also asked and answered lots if questions about how many legs or eyes they had and what they liked to eat!

    I was fortunate enough to be helping in class this morning and saw how brave Year R were holding and touching the animals. They asked excellent questions and were really nice and quiet so they didn't scare the animals. Well done Year R.

    Thomas couldn't wait to get to school he was so excited. He was full of stories and information when he came home. He can't wait for the next zoo lab visit.

    Joana loved the visit, she said the snake felt like plastic :) and the beetle was very funny :)
