You may have heard that Posterous (our blog provider) is closing down in April. This has meant I have been spending lots of time exploring new blog providers and so have not been posting as often as usual. Rest assured we will soon have a new class blog up and running. Apologies for the reduced blogging in the meantime.
Oh, bless you, I was beginning to wonder! Hopefully I'm still not the only parent to comment on here? I think it's so good and me and Lydia love looking at it together. So pleased you're going to continue it, many thanks, Lydia's mum.

We've missed you. We find the blog is a real conversation starter in our house. Look forward to continued blogging.
ReplyDeletePs really excited about the song and nursery rhyme sessions. Not only a language tool but a wonderful way of extending younger siblings introduction to kings copse.

I'm glad you think the songs and rhymes sessions sound like a positive idea. Yes we certainly see the extra chance for our future pupils to get to know us better as a real positive. Also hopefully we can all have lots of fun!

I'm really pleased to see a few of our parents engaging with the blog on a regular basis and it is lovely to hear it is a conversation starter! We're incredibly keen to get folk talking with their children and reading with their children so it is heartening to hear this IS happening. As Mrs Goto says, we've been running around (carefully, of course) trying to find an alternative to Posterous... so watch this space.
