View finding!

Using Viewfinders

As part of our art topic, we are going to be looking at how to use ICT to compose images.  Today, Mrs Warland showed us how to make viewfinders using two 'L' shaped pieces of card.  We visited lots of different places around school and studied the building and surround areas.

We made our 'L' shapes closer together for detailed captures but spaced them further apart to see the 'bigger picture'

Some of us tried creating panoramic images.  It was fascinating to see how a space could change when you could see more or less of an area.  Next week we will be heading outside again but this time....with iPads!
